Tiktok Rating Decrease Significantly as Youtube Vs. Tiktok Rages

Popular video-sharing platform TikTok has exploded in popularity over the past year. In fact, the app has become a rage that was banned for some time in India. However, there is no denying that Tik Tok has become a huge platform, with lots of creators and audiences. This is all very well, but the app is also not void of controversies.

Now, in a surprising development, Ticketcock’s ratings have suddenly dropped to an all-time low on the Google Play Store. The development follows a huge revival of the #BanTikTok hashtag in India. The app rating was 4.5 / 5 on the Play Store a few days ago. However, today, TikTok’s rating has come down to just 1.6 / 5.

Looking at the latest ratings on the Play Store, almost every rating in the last two days is a 1-star rating for the app. Surprisingly, the app is still rated 4.2 on the iOS App Store in India.

Recently, TikTok creators have been embroiled in a war against YouTube creators in a new YouTube vs TikTok ‘trend. Recently YouTuber CarryMinati made a video of roasting Tiktok creator Aamir Siddiqui and Tikotokars as usual. The video has since been taken down, which has taken the controversy even more. YouTuber’s fans are trending #BringBackCarryMinatiYoutubeVideo and #BanTikTok on Twitter.

Not all are amazing with TikTok anyway. The app has also made headlines many times for the wrong reasons. More recently, a Tiktok producer by the name of Faizal Siddiqui came under scrutiny for posting a video for allegedly promoting acid attacks on women.
