Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 – Price, Specifications & Features

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 made official during its Virtual Unpacked event on August 5, before fully revealing the new folding phone in Unpacked Part 2 on September 1.

This is Samsung’s third foldable phone. The Korean smartphone maker launched its first foldable device under the Galaxy series, the Galaxy Fold, in the same period last year. After that, it launched the Galaxy Z Flip at the first unpacked event of 2020.

Starting with Design and Build, It comes with a 6.2-inch Infinity-O cover screen, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 with 120Hz refresh rate and 22.5: 18% ratio. The foldable device runs on the Android 10 operating system with the company’s own OneUI 2.0 skin on top, with customization for foldable displays.

When unfold, it became a 7.6-inch main screen. The phone has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC with 5G Capabilities. It comes with 512GB of internal data storage with 12GB of RAM and 256GB that are non-expandable.

In addition, the device packs a 4,500 mAh all day battery that supports super fast charging to boost your mobile battery, wireless charging, and wireless power share.

Cameras & Sensors:

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a total of five camera sensors. The external camera set-up consists of three different sensors: 12MP ultra wide angle lens, 12MP wide angle lens and 12MP telephoto lens. You can flip the back around and turn it into a front camera, even if the external 6.2-inch display has its own punch-hole selfie camera. It also gets a second punch-hole selfie camera on the foldable panel. The external display has a 10MP sensor for taking selfies.

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 camera comes with Pro Mode, Single Take, Bright Night and Night Mode and many more.

Price & Availability

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has been launched for $ 1,999, which is estimated at around 1,46,086. The price of India is yet to be announced.

Samsung’s next-generation foldable smartphone will be available in the United States from 18 September. However, pre-orders have started since launch, the U.S. And with select markets including Europe, the company has said.
