The fancy Galaxy Fold was supposed to go for Pre-order starting from April 26 in Europe, but due to the many performance issues reported by critics, the pre-order was postponed and according to one publication, one of Samsung’s executive has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Fold is getting ready to hit the market once again. However, no exact confirmation should be made on this statement soon.
Kim Sung-Cheol, Vice President of Samsung Display, has reportedly made a declaration in a Korean Information Display Society program and said that most of the performance issues have surfaced and the Galaxy Fold is ready to rock the market. The point here to note is that the word “most” used in this statement indicates that there are some other problems that need to be corrected. A few days ago, The Korean Herald reported that the South Korean giant has not made any progress with the release of the Galaxy Fold.
The Galaxy Fold comes with 7.3-inch foldable dynamic AMOLED display while the 4.6-inch HD + Super AMOLED screen is on the fold. Under the hood, Cryo 485 CPU and Adreno 640 GPU with 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 mobile platform. The device is equipped with 512GB onboard storage with 12GB of RAM. It came out of the box with a UI-based Android 9 Pie operating system and should be available when it becomes available.
Talking about cameras, it has a total of 6 sensors with a 10MP dual pixel camera, while 8MP is a deep-sensitive camera. On the rear, we can see triple camera setup with 12MP dual pixel camera, 12MP telephoto camera and 16MP ultra-wide angle camera, in which a 10MP camera is placed at the top. The device also has a 4380mAh battery that supports fast charging technology.
