Realme is set to become a well-known lifestyle brand in India. Apart from the Realme phones, the company already has a collection of mobile and audio accessories. But, it is not stopping there and has already given a hint at its upcoming truly wireless earbuds at the Realme X2 Pro launch event last month.

Along with the much-awaited Snapdragon 730G-powered variants of Realme XT, the company is also known to launch its truly wireless earbuds on 17 December next week. Realme X2 Pro has been teasing its wireless earbuds since launch, sharing many real-life images on Social Media. But today, Realme has gone ahead and confirmed that the earbuds will be officially called Realme Buds Air.

Realme today officially took to Twitter to reveal the official branding for its wireless earbuds. They have been dubbed ‘Realme Buds Air’ and the name only adds another resemblance to Apple AirPods. You can see in the teaser here, Realme has cloned the original AirPods. It is not only earbuds (with its sensor placement and touch control) but also a charging case.

A Specific page of Realme Buds Air is now live on the company’s website. It turns out that the wireless earbuds will, in fact, feature a 12mm bass boost driver, Bluetooth 5.0 support for instant auto-connection and touch control to control call reject / music playback. Realme also states that you will only need to open the case to connect earbuds – but possibly with your phone.

Realme may have gone ahead and cloned Apple AirPods, but Realme Buds Air will be super popular among the youth if the company gets the pricing right. I too would love to try them out to hear the difference in audio quality. I expect them to cost around Rs 4,500-5,000 to eliminate competition from brands like JBL, noise, and others. What are your expectations from Realme Buds Air? Let me know in the comment section below.
