Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi is ready to launch a new smartphone in China – Redmi K20 – May 28, which would be powered by the Snapdragon 855 processor.
Confirming the launch date, the company released an official teaser on Monday. Redmi K20 is also expected to come to India.
According to a teaser posted on Weibo, Redmi K20 will be launched in Beijing on May 28 at 2 pm (11.30 AM India Time).
The smartphone will have a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary camera sensor. The handset is expected to have a triple camera setup and a pop-up selfie camera.
Prior to the launch, the company has been told a lot about Redmi K20.
Redmi’s General Manager Lou Weibing has recently confirmed that Redmi K20 will be the cheapest device with Snapdragon 855.
Meanwhile, there are rumors that Xiaomi will unveil two variants of Redmi K20.
There can be a standard Redmi K20 and the other will be Pro version. Another report states that Redmi K20 Pro will come to India as Poco F2.
